In Marquez's only fight beyond 135, he hasn't shown anything other than survive for a full 12 rounds. Because he lasted a full 12 rounds against a welterweight who was always safety first, now it's to be discussed Marquez can compete against these top 140lbers? Let him fight, no, prove something first at these weights before people get off fantasizing how he wins these fights at the higher weights. Seriously.
Since you're basing your assumptions on the Mayweeather showing for Marquez,.......what does it say of Marquez, if Pacquiao is made to look like a complete novice against Mayweather????? I doubt any of you clowns will even come near this question????
It would be a bloody fight, and no way Bradley would dominate Marquez. Not an ounce of that will be happening.
Why, are you claiming Marquez DID NOT LOOK LIKE A COMPLETE NOVICE against Mayweather? The only thing Marquez was able to show in that fight is that he went 12 rounds. Now all of a sudden the real clowns like you fantasize about Marquez only having some difficulty with Bradley and having an easier time with the rest of the pack at 140? After looking the way he did in his only fight beyond 135? Let me realign some bent screws in some clown's head here. Do you feel like your boy Marquez is getting left way behind by a guy like Manny Pacquiao with this whole weight-climbing thing? You know, they had two close fights, frankly, fights that would probably be the highlights of Marquez' career. And after that, this guy Pacquiao went on to climb higher weights and surprisingly did way better than most guys would when climbing up in weight. So now when Marquez did his own weight climbing guys like you would naturally wish he'd do just as good. But what happened? He went a full 12 rounds, and that's about the only good thing that can be said. He got blanked, he was knocked down. He was made to look like a complete novice. You see, the fact that Pacquiao and Marquez having had two close fights does not mean what Pacquiao can achieve in the higher weights will automatically translate to Marquez being able to approximate such. Marquez needs to fight at these weights and prove something before we realistically discuss his chances with the top guys here. No proof, no can do. Just deal with it. And stop insinuating in so many words Pacquiao may be using steroids. You'd stoop that low, eh? Must really hurt to see your boy get left behind huh?
JMM was clearly beat my Mayweather jr........but he was far from looking like a novice...... .....for that, check out the matchup on March 2010 between Mayweather and Pacquiao.... Pacquiao is already proven at 147 lbs, so his matchup with Mayweather will have nothing to do with weight. Pacquiao would be made to look like a novice at any weight vs the defensive Mayweather..... Divac guarantee's it!!!dealyep
Fully agree People will be so surprised at how easy Mayweather is going to make it look. I actually think he might stop him. They forget Cotto was outboxing Pac with the jab in some rounds of that fight but then Cotto go crazy and tried to trade with PAc thats when he go caught. You guys all know PBF is patient as hell and he can jab all night and avoid exchanges all night. Thats when Pac towards the end of the fight will catch Pac lunging in as he used to and that check hook will do some damage. If the straight right doesnt TKO him first.
You know, regardless how Pacquiao fares against Mayweather at any weight, it still doesn't mean Marquez will be competitive at weights above 135. You guarantee Pacquiao will be made to look like a novice, or you wish to hell it happens so that you'll feel a li'l better with what happened to your favorite guy? :hey And yes, Marquez looked like a complete novice against Mayweather. A shut-out for cryin out loud, why, even Zab Judah managed to win a couple rounds! :yep
I'll be happy as heck to be wrong on this one. I rarely if ever have ever guaranteed anything on this site. In boxing, nothing is ever a true guarantee........but this is as close to a guarantee as I can get to any matchup where the oddsmakers are making it close. I'm just not seeing that. If this was a matchup between two unknowns, having seen the trajectory of both fighters, I'd make Mayweather a 4 or even a 5-1 favorite. Boxing observers should ask themselves this......when Pac takes his long step toward unleaching his straight left, will Mayweather be there to be hit????? I'm confident that he wont.....and if he is, he'll be ducking, shoulder rolling, and contorting his body every which way to then scoot out of there. Mayweather is going to be one twoing his punches and then simply defending. Pacquiao's up against a defensive mindset for the first time since I've seen him fight (which was a few fights before the first MAB fight) Can anyone name me one defensive minded fighter that Pacquiao ever faced, besides MAB in survival mode and afraid to let out anything other than a jab? JMM is a master boxer, but he is'nt a defensive minded fighter. Master boxer + defensive minded master.....can use the left and right hands equally well=an embarrassing night for Manny Pacquiao.
Marquez landed what like 6% of his punches? Bradley doesn't have to be Mayweather in this fight. Bradley just needs to do what he does and make adjustments if necessary. His defense while coming foward is excellent and I think he proved that his defense while on the outside is excellent as well. Sure he's not on Mayweather's level in the defense department, but unlike Mayweather, Bradley tries to **** his opponent up.
Thankyou, thats what I was looking for........and exactly what JMM would want Bradley to do vs him....... Marquez tried everything to bait Mayweather to open up. With the height, reach, and physical disadvantages he was under, he needed Mayweather to come at him aggressively, "to try and **** him up as you said,"but as we know, Mayweather is too diciplined a fighter to fall for what his opponent would want him to do. You try and **** up JMM, you're only playing right into his hands.....Manny Pacquiao is witness number one to that statement!:yep
I take it by playing into Marquez's hands you mean take a draw and a win, right? :rofl And up to this point the only career highlights in Marquez' résumé are a draw and a loss to Manny Pacquiao. :yep
Nope, it means the Pinoy broadcast team reporting back to the Phillipines that Pacquiao had just gotten schooled!lol::yep
It gets rich with this guy :rofl Gotten schooled means exactly...what? A close decision, or somewhere along the lines of the Floyd-Marquez shellacking? :yep Or a draw, which should have been another win, because the judge who had it even admitted he made a blunder in scoring a certain round, a round with three knockdowns? :hey
