Pac is a better fighter when he trains in the US. That's based on my
    observation...
This is an important fight for both fighters, especially Pac if he wants to
have bigger paydays in the future lol

hope he does not delay his jan. 15 planned departure for US of A. if he does another circus training, he will be in for a big surprise.

good thing about pac is he takes every fight seriously and freddie Roach is there to make sure he trains well and not to be over confident.

he learned it the hard way when he lost to morales 2 years ago.

Pac never vows but we all know he does his best. He has been doing his best since he lost to marales. we all know the results of all his fights after he lost to morales!

    Marquez trains, Pacman frolics
    By Ronnie Nathanielsz

WORLD Boxing Council super-featherweight champion Juan Manuel Marquez has started training early for his March 15 “Unfinished Business” re-match with Manny Pacquiao, who now frolics in the beaches of Boracay with his family and trainer Freddie Roach.
But Pacquiao’s friend and confidant Rex “Wakee” Salud, who is spending his Christmas holidays in Cebu, said there was no need to worry.
“Manny told me he will begin training on Jan. 3 or 4,” said Salud.
The initial phase of getting into physical shape for the tough grind ahead at celebrated trainer Roach’s Wild Card Gym is set starting on Jan. 15.
Boxing writer James Blears of the Boxing Scene site informed Viva Sports/Standard Today that Marquez has “already started training and is running eight miles a day and working away in his Mexico City gym like there’s no tomorrow.”
Blears, who lives in Mexico City, said Marquez’s current weight is only five pounds over the 130-pound super-featherweight limit with a little less than three months left before the fight.
The Boracay visit was the first for Pacquiao, who flew to the tourist destination with his wife Jinkee and their three children, along with their maids and a couple of security people.
The Pacquiao family is staying in a villa at West Cove, regarded as a top-class resort owned by perennial Philippine flag-bearer in the Pacman’s fights—longtime fan and friend Cris Aquino.
Meanwhile, promoter Gary Shaw said he knew nothing about a scheduled Dec. 20 bout between Glenn Donaire and Mexican Tirso Gutierrez Morales at the Hard Rock Café in Las Vegas, but was apparently called off.
Glenn is the elder brother of world flyweight champion Nonito Donaire.
In an e-mail to Viva Sports/Standard Today, Shaw said he had no idea of what we were talking about when we inquired about an item in the Philboxing forum reporting that the fight had been called off by Shaw since it was on a Top Rank fight card. “I had no idea. It didn’t go through me,” said Shaw, who then alleged that the story of the fight cancellation was “more lies, untruths, rumors, speculation. Never knew anything about fighting for Top Rank. He can fight anywhere, anytime, anyplace for anyone. That is my statement. You can quote me and I stand by my word.”

I dig both of these boxers and hope the rematch lives up to its expectations------I'm still puzzled at Pacmans lack lustre performance against Barrera where I fully expected Manny to walk right thru him with all guns blazing----did he purposely have his foot off the gas to settle for a decent points win---or was it his new celebrity status that created loss of focus - like that normal killer instinct was lacking ??:huh :huh :huh :huh

Maybe I'm a little pissed off that Barrera got off so lightly-----I class him as a bad sport---and my Hero was MORALES so you can be a little biased...
