And Marquez can't even knock down a mediocre fighter like Juarez and retired Barrera. As a matter of fact, it was even Barrera who knocked Marquez down. I am not optimistic about Marquez performance in 135. The big guys will eat him up.
Huh? How is JMM "my boy" ? I was simply asking if you had actually seen Casamayor fight because you said he "has never been down", when clearly he has been down several times in his career. Majority of those times in major T.V fights. I think its debatable to say that Casamayor is a natural lightweight when he only started fighting full time at lightweight in like 2004, as a 34 year old mind you. And he won an olympic gold medal and WC silver medal as a bantemweight, in his 20's. I think prime Duran and Mosley would beg to differ that Casa is a natural lightweight.
Well Pacquiao was also not able to knock out Barrera and no one has been able to KO Juarez. He did administer a beating to Juares and convicingly beat Barrera even if you counted the KD. He also beat Pac IMO.
We are talking who's knocked down and who knocked down who here which means who has a weak chin and who has a power punch. Barrera had been knocked out by Pac in their first fight and Barrera avoided being knocked out again by resorting to running. :deal Btw, Pac has never been knocked down in his last 10 fights. :deal
Juarez is a mediocre fighter. He could not last 6 rounds w/ Pac, IMO. In your opinion, Pac was beaten by Marquez but in the judges opinion, Pac won. What counts most? A winner won't ask for a rematch if he thinks he won. Had Marquez not gone down, he would have salvage a draw. The KD is critical. Anyway, let's move on. Pac was already declared the champion and no amount of hair splitting can change the outcome of that close fight.
