Marquez vs COTTO , Margarito, Mosley????

Of the three of them I give him the least chance against Margo. Margo is just too big and could take any punch Marquez could hit him with in stride and keep coming. I just can't see Marquez being able to keep Margo off him.

 

Marquez beats both Cotto and Mosley easily, but Margarito is all wrong JMM, just think of how much trouble Diaz was giving Juan

 

One thing is for certain, he beats the dog **** out of Cottoe.

 

All three probably too big for him.

 

Two of the three were able to mess Pac up pretty bad in their losses. Marquez barely bruised Pacquiao this last fight. Marquez was only able to outbox Pac so I doubt he can hurt Margarito and Mosley but Cotto always had a questionalble chin.

Marquez would use Margo for target partice on his combos.

 

No he doesnt, Cotto is a sucker for the uppercut, thats Marquez best punch, Cotto would eat those uppercuts all night long.:deal

And Marquez is a sucker for left hands (whether from a southpaw or orthodox fighter). I'd say it's a close, competitive fight, with Cotto's size and strength ultimately being the determining factor.


I think Marquez would beat Mosley on points because Shane appears to be a shot fighter. But I'd favor the Margarito who fought Pacquiao to stop Marquez late. Too big, too strong, too active...though it's conceivable Margarito may not be the same fighter today. So Marquez would have a chance against a diminished Margarito.

 

Marquez is a uniquely effecient fighter, but fact remains Margo is a bit to "Large" of a mountain and Cotto while flawed is technically sound, strong and a totally different fighter when compared to Pac. This game is about matchups and Marquez can be hit and had trouble in the early going vs Diaz who probably has about 25% of Mosely's punching power and about a quarter of his skill and Cotto handled him pretty soundly. I hate to make these sort of comparisions but they do come into play when breaking down this possible match up. Please leave the biased at home and think logically.

 

Marquez is technical a much better boxer and can beat all of them, Mosley is shot, Cotto has the same dimensions, is stronger but that's about it, Margarito is useless
