Diaz still looking very soft to the body. Those body shots will have him winded by the end of the fight. :yep
I doubt that. Diaz is made of something else. He has been hit with some good body shots and his workrate was never cut down by it. If Marquez can get some power shot counters over Diaz's jab then he will win, if not, he may get outpointed. Diaz is going to be the bigger stronger guy in the ring.
Bernard is always in the pictures. Marquez has a six pack and Diaz does not. According to the Hatton fans that means Marquez is easily going to win.
What are you saying? Diaz took a lot of body bombs from Nate . . . but in the end it was the cut on the face that became a bigger factor not the body shots.
Body shots by Nate Campbell took their toll, and having followed JMM's career to a greater extent than most in this forum, I'm here to tell them Marquez is a killer body puncher. ....he digs a mean left hook to the side and underneath to the upper abdominal cavity. Indeed Juan Diaz' body will get tested. While there has been posters adamant that Juan Diaz is the bigger fighter.....I've said since way before this fight was signed that Diaz is'nt a big lightweight.....he weighs in at 135 lbs and usually steps in the ring about 3 pounds heavier. Marquez will likely outweigh him in the ring by about 5 lbs. Diaz looks like he always does.....Cardiovascularly he's always in phenominal shape......but probably the reason why there is'nt a whole lot of power in his punches is that he does'nt train and condition his body to exhert power.....even looking at his chest area, he's a little flabby up there. .....wont take away from his performance however, as thats just the way Diaz always comes to fight.
You can talk yourself into whatever you like, but Nate was beating up on Diaz even before the cut happened...... .....and Campbell was landing much heavier to the body, which is the reason that Diaz down the stretch could'nt force the issue coming foward as he's become accustomed to doing. Down the stretch of that fight with Campbell, Diaz had virtually nothing on his punches, and the body punishment he took was the main reason why!
