I'm happy as a clam for this fight. Couldn't of cared less for a Khan-JMM fight as Khan should be fighting guys in the div. he fights in.

Am I the only one here that see's this as a mismatch thats going to favor Marquez.

Think about it......Katsidis is a pure head first brawler with no defense.
    Marquez will land at will......

    JMM KO 4!
It simply cannot get easier than Katsidis at 135 lbs for Marquez.

This will be a wicked fight if it was all signed and the deal was offically on, not sure who i would bet on at this stage to win though.

No it wouldn't be. Marquez would dominate and pick him apart with utter ease. Katsidis is, and always has been an overrated face-first brawler. The type of guy Juan Manuel can have a field day with countering the **** out of him round after round. I'd consider this nothing more than a stay busy fight for JMM.

Marquez looked slower than ever in his last 2 fights, understandably, but neither mayweather or diaz were coming constantly forward to him so he wasn't really fighting the way he likes. He won't have to worry about katsidis not taking the fight to him and i see him taking the first 6 rounds by picking him off. But katsidis will never let up and i think he will test marquez's stamina to the full. JMM definitely has a bit of pop at 135 but I don't see him stopping him. So for me either marquez by ud or katsidis late stoppage, probably favouring JMM

Allright, backing up your statements would be nice.

What has indicated to you that Katsidis can outlast any top tier fighter?
This is a fighter who had Casamayor hurt badly early in their fight, and the old Casa outlasted him........

On the flipside, Marquez stamina wise has'nt indicated any decline in him.
.....even in the Mayweather fight at 147 lbs, he looked like he could go more rounds.

Marquez has proven elite type stamina, the type that allowed him to stop Casamayor and Diaz who were lightweights that had never been stopped.

......and yet, you're going to tell us that Katsidis who is totally unproven and in fact suspect to be able to last late in a fight, is going to outlast a fighter who is proven to be one of the very best physically conditioned fighters in Marquez????
    ......Makes absolutely no sense.
It Katsidis would to win this fight, he'd have to catch Marquez early and blast him out of there, something that even the likes of Manny Pacquiao has been in that situation and unable to finish the job.

Its not official yet, but I would love the fight. I rather see this than Khan-JMM.
I'll like to see Khan-JMM AFTER seeing them fight one more time.

    Marvelous marvelous fight !!!!

Cant wait for this , Marquez consolidates his already rapidly growing legacy with a win over Katsidis , and the improved Katsidis becomes the number 1 fighter in the world if he beats Marquez , this is a superb fight , id put this almost in the " super fight " bracket ....................
