Katsidis is not in JMM's class. He is lucky that JMM is old.

Marquez should outbox Katsidis in a spirited battle. He may even stop Michael late. I've been looking forward to this fight for a long time. HOWEVER - if Katsidis pulls off the upest this could launch him onto the big fight stage!

i hope katsidis finds a way to win this fight, but i really don't think he has a chance against a technician like marquez. he gets hit way too much and marquez is about as accurate as they come. its going to be a hell of a fight while it lasts though! cant wait...

Waste of time on JMM's side.

    Katsidis gets brutalized.

The guy that outboxed him got outboxed by JMM.
The guy that KO'ed him got KO'ed by JMM.

I'm surprised people are writing Katsidis off. I seriously think he could pull this one out. Marquez is ripe for the picking. I think Katsidis's relentless pressure will stop Marquez.

  7. I dont think Katsidis will pressure Marquez the way he did Mitchell. He knows he cant win by doing that. I dont think he has the power to knock Marquez out with one or two shots. He was obviously trying to land something big against Mitchell as he was leaving himself wide open. I think theyre both going to try and box, with Katsidis pressuring with intelligence. It'll probably be a hybrid of Marquez's fights against Diaz. I think Marquez takes this one pretty easily. Wide unanimous decision or late stoppage.

JMM will certainly knock katsidis out. JMM is too precise and too smart for kat. Kat will be outboxed all night and get caught with an uppercut and kiss the canvas then the ref will stop the fight.

You know Tackle, i was actually gonna go out on a limb and go with my man Katsidis. I will be rooting for him and i actually also thought that with his pressure WITH his power, that he could def make things interesting against JMM.

However, after rewatching some of the Diaz vs Kat (Diaz is a damn beast in that fight) i think Kat is just not as good as i want him to be.

I am behind Katsidis all the way and win, lose, or draw, he will remain a fav of mine... i hope he can pull this off as this would be a huge, huge, huge win for him and put him on a level he hasnt been before, but i just dont see it given his past performences.

    But regardless..... WAR KATSIDIS!!!!

You migt be right, but i hope not.

I dont see Katsidis throwing away the only advantage he has and instead give himself NO chance. I doubt even he believes he can box with JMM. Im sure him and his team know the key to this fight is pressure, and getting JMM to brawl with him. JMM is prone to mixing it up, and with Kat in his face he will be forced to at times.

Marquez is indeed better than Kats, but your assessment of just about every white fighter has a certain sameness to it, if you know what I mean. :-(

How: KO. Or atleast a decision via several knock downs.

Who: Marquez should take it but Michael is a game challenger and a real shot at winning. FOTY candidate and being an Aussie I have to go with The Great!!

BEST CAREER MOVE OF JMM is to fight another manager. His career would have gone to greater heights if he had a different career. Biggest mistake of JMM is being managed by a class b manager

    :good

Legendary trainers do not necessarily make good managers!
