If you had Castillo winning, that's fine. I don't agree, mainly because of the first 5 rounds, but the fight is seven years ago and don't have a problem with the decision going either way.

I'm trying to talk about the upcoming bout with Marquez and your arguments of Mayweather never showing a willingness to trade and him fading in the mid-rounds, not a 2002 bout.

If you want to keep avoiding it and just go out and say "I don't like Mayweather", then do it. Floyd makes himself easy enough to dislike.

I think our disagreement comes from me using the word fade...what would be more appropriate to say is he reduces his activity and resurges in the final rounds. I now realize that I should have stated it differently.

    I hope this clarifies things.

"4-4 and 1 even, I got it 85 to 85. I got it all even. You know for four rounds, 5, 6, 7 and 8 I was watching Floyd Mayweather fight a desperation fight. It wasn't ring generalship, he was running away." - Harold LedermanCastillo showing stamina and strength." - Jim Lampley

"Roger Mayweather told his nephew that he now has to stand and punch and move out against Castillo which indicates that Roger thinks this is a very close fight and that Floyd Mayweather Jr. has to land some meaningful punches in these next two rounds." - Larry Merchant

Great argument very concise contains no premises, no logic, and relies on pure fallacy ad hominem abrasive to be exact.

So you believe that Marquez could lose the whole fight then stop Floyd in the last round like Chavez did to taylor why exactly? Chavez hit way harder then JMM. And Floyd has one of the best defenses and chins in boxing.

Seriously your in fairy tale land.

    Lets look at reality.

    1. PBF defeats Hatton by KO in round 10. Pac destroys him in 2 rounds considering Hatton was better conditioned against PAC. Pac is a more effective puncher than PBF. Marquez withstood 24 rounds of PAC.

    2. Marquez has able to defeat the best lightweights in boxing by ko (PAC excluded). Casamayor (Ring Champ) and Diaz.

I will agree that PBF is the better athlete and because of this he s several advantages however Marquez has as good of a chin as PBF and is as smart as PBF. The only clear advantage PBF has is athleticism. Experience has shown me that eventually that fades. I am conjecturing that it may have and thus Marquez working the body enough could probably lead to a ko.

Pac is more offensive orientated then Mayweather. Pac also has gained enormous amount of power since he moved up in weight. He's far stronger then the Pac that Marquez fought. Pac still dropped Marquez 4 times in 2 fights.

Niether one of them was Mayweather nor had the defense and chin he has.

Really fighters power can move up and down and then back up--dont buy it. It is more believable that Marquez has a good chin he was able to get backup 4 times.

My point is not that Diaz and Joel are better than PBF I am simply stressing the mans resume.

Looks like it was a good argument, considering it had, "no premises, no logic, and relies simply on pure fallacy and hominem abrasive to be exact."
