What weight class? Wouldn't it make more sense for him to fight the winner of Pacquiao vs Hatton? ... I know him calling out Floyd was a ploy to lure Pacquiao into a fight, but that might not work and he might really get a chance to fight Floyd.
What weight? I don't understand ... if Marquez is coming up from 135 ... he wouldn't be able to shoot straight up to welterweight and win that fight ... he couldn't win that fight above 140. I don't think he can beat Hatton either ... and Hatton is going to win that fight against Pacquiao.
would be a close and great fight! PBF defense would be the difference. I could see PBF knocking down marquez a couple of times and that would make the difference. PBF has never been hurt in a fight. That being said if there was anyone that could stand a chance at or below 147 (including that thug Tony) at beating PBF it is JJM. Still my money is on moneymay . . . common guys don't hat the player hate the game!
Marquez has the style and smarts to beat Mayweather... But the size difference worries me a little... Floyd looked pretty sharp at 147.... will Marquez?
How is Marquez ducking Pacquiao? No one is ducking no one ... they really don't need to fight each other again ... they're so evenly matched that they would just have the same result each and every time they fought.
Mayweather is too fast. Pac is fast but he likes to fight, Mayweather doesn't. Mayweather will win a UD by running. And that's no knock though. That's boxing!. Not getting hit.
Mayweather has size, speed and possibly skill, but JMM is a master as well and has the heart and will of a true champion which PBF has yet to demonstrate. Pick em'...
