If you get in the ring there are no disadvantages in less you admit its only for a pay day and if so then that boxer should lose some legend points or whatever esb calls them.

Marquez is a smart fighter. I think the smarts gives Mayweather much more problems than aggressiveness or a big punch. What JMM lacks in power he makes up for with wits and timing.

To this day the toughest fight Mayweather has been in has been with Judah who nobody thinks is all that strong (at WW) or aggressive. Judah uses speed, timing, and wits.

    MUCH respect to marquez....

same thing with hatton vs canelo....canelo completely dominated him for 12 rounds, but the brit showed true heart.

Marquez deserved to keep fighting but Mayweather really stepped it up in 9 and turned Marquez' head into a speed bag; not missing at all with jabs and straight rights. After a KD in the 2nd and losing 9 straight rounds, I wouldn't have been offended by a corner stoppage but that's just me.

I don't think that fight was ever anywhere close to being stopped.

From what I remember Marquez still looked as fresh in the championship rounds as he did in the first.

Oh yea, he was fresh as a daisy. That's a myth created by Pacquiao fans around here on why Pacquiao's SD win over Marquez was was more impressive other than being at JMM's best weight.

I didn't say the fight was close to being stopped either there, sport.

first of all I didn't quote you.

second of all, I was saying he was as fresh in the championship rounds as he was in the first. I suggest you re-watch rounds 1, 11, and 12 if you think it's a myth.

Marquez was completely and utterly outclassed he didn't win one minute of any round. Bet he does much better against Pac 3 but still gets KO'd by Pac.

Well what i was trying to imply is that marquez came up in weight and i think did ok for stepping in with one of the best p4p at the time. He didint get ko'ed or fight got stopped, so i think of he prepared him self better this time around and laid off the **** i think he can give pac a good fight, seeing how he did against mayweather with dis advantages bloated.

Whether they admit it or not, *****s prefer KO/TKO style wins as opposed to UD. :yep

If Floyd have been more active, he will have the same record as Malignaggi.

I'm a big fan of Marquez. He's a genius in the squared circle. But, Floyd was born and bred to box, IMO. He is in a different class. At any weight, Floyd wins, I think. With that said...Marquez showed huge heart in a fight where he was clearly overmatched.

    good highlight of the fight

    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jE2w4nJlk0Q[/ame]

Marquez is probably my favorite modern fighter, and even though he was shutout, he showed hes no ***** and stayed in the fight, having some good moments...but MAN Mayweather is ****ing good.

when your a light weight and you have reach/height weight disadvantages & going up against the best p4p defensive fighter I think it has alot to do with it.
