Marquez vs Morales - Deal close for April 16 - Does Morales have a shot?

I Go for Morales by decision.. i dont believe JMM can knock him down.
Morales can counter punch too and his power is enough to tear jmm apart:smoke

 

Marquez should then fight Cotto, Clottey and Margarito who you and Marquez believe as easy opponent instead of fighting Morales....

 

Morales certainly has a shot, younger man by 4 years

JMM is on the decline afterall but should be favourite.

 

And I thought Pac vs Mosley was the worst then this....



Terrible fight for JMM. There are 140ers out there. Hell take on Maidana. It does not have to be Khan, Berto, or Bradley.

 

Of course its a terrible fight for JMM, no win situation, he wins he wont get credit and he loses he gets unfairly slaughtered as only EM and MAB are allowed to be shot.

Yet he will be about 38 fighting a 34 year old.

 

they were carried away for primed Marquez on his comfortable weight from 126-130 giving a then one dimensional, not on his prime,weight drained and one handed fighter Pacman a hell of a fight...if this is the logic, then Torrecampo and Singsurat who were the only boxers to score a KO win against Pacman deserved the same accolade and must be considered a great fighters.....

 

Marquez doesn't want no part even against the weakest link at 140.... He wants Pacman for last big retirement payday...

Marquez vs Morales was the worst ever in the history of boxing match up...
Choosing his same size opponent who is faded and shot Morales who was twice KO by Pacman will not make a statement for another fight with Pacman....Khan, Maidana, Bradley and Devon and even Ortiz are fighting each other just to get a chance to fight Pacman while Marquez doesn't want to be in the mix with them and opted to fight faded and shot Morales for his next fight to get a shot with Pacman....

 

Not saying that at all. In MARQUEZ's mind he thinks by beating morales now,that it will up his rating on great mexican fighters. I still don't think he will prove anything by beating the current version of Morales.

 

Who was he going to fight, Pacquiao?

Morales and the WBC have been setting this one up for years. They'll have the fight at 140 (or some catchweight) with the vacant title on the line so that the winner can become the first Mexican to win 4 belts. It's a crappy fight, but it's a step up from a few other fights I can think of recently between faded legends.

 

Two of these are Top Rank cards, so that there shows who's mostly responsible for those shitty matchups lately.

 

You become the #1 Mandatory contender by being a "class C" fighter and therefore you are a BUM is the usual assumption these *******s make.
