This ****ing idiot defends Marquez for taking on Morales, yet he feels Pacquiao taking on Hatton at 140 was cherrypicking. This guy whines and bitches all the time about *******s, yet he's ****ing worse than them.

Morales still resonates in the Latin community.....
I believe a Marquez-Morales fight will do about 350K.....well above the 200K the Marquez-Diaz fight did.

Surely Morales is going to get the low end of the purse split, and if the fight did 350K, JMM would walk away with over 5 million dollars, more than what Arum is willing to pay him for a fight with Pacquiao.

The decision for Marquez to fight Morales was really an easy one to make.
Its pretty much a gimme fight for Marquez and he ends up taking home what Arum was offering him to fight Pacquiao.

If you switch the opponents around,

Pac fights Morales = absolutely ****ing unacceptable, boycott is definitely in order.

JMM fighting Mosley = something I would pay to watch.

Yeah that is how bad Morales is at this point. Mosley albeit not prime, is huge and always got great power for anybody to be weary of.

A welterweight fight between Pac and Morales would surely be unacceptable.
Morales carries love handles when he weighs in as a welter.

......lets remember that this Morales fight with JMM will be fought at lightweight, where at least Morales will look in shape.

Since about 3 years ago, Pac and Morales at ANY weight was/is unacceptable.

Agreed.....Pacquiao blitzed Morales the last two times they met......there would be no reason for Pac-Morales to happen again unless a miracle happens and Morales somehow looks impressive in beating Marquez.

......if that were to happen, you just watch,
Pac-Morales 4 happens in 2011 and at the weight Freddie Roach would'nt dare fight Marquez, 140 lbs!:yep

Pac did not blitz Morales in their rematch. It was a hard fought battle. For the first 5 rounds, it looked exactly like the first fight. The 1st 5 rounds, I scored for Morales 4 rounds to 1.

    Pretty much this.

As much as I respect Erik, his warrior heart alone won't be able to carry him to the final bell, against a much more capable JMM.

The uneducated fan wouldn't think Marquez was the older fighter out of the two.

Obviously Marquez is the favourite but if Morales has 1 more great fight left in him somewhere then it will be vs a fellow ATG Mexican, you can bet your ass on that.

I think you and me may be the only people looking forward to this bout.

I literally couldn't care how far from peak Morales is, both could be shot and I would still watch.

......and why do you think it was that after Morales took 4 of 5 rounds, he then tanked?

Morales was actually doing pretty good until his body could no longer keep up, with what he wanted to do... Sucks...

    He just gassed out...

It was a stamina issue, maybe age brought it? un prime? didn't train hard?

I don't know, but he was doing good until he gassed out... and PAC took advantage of it. If he had stamina on his side the skills morales had would have won him another UD...
