.......or could it be that he was as dry as a shriveled raisin in those weighins.

There was a news article I read in a spanish newspaper, but it was after the weighin of the 3rd fight. Morales looked so dry and ill, he looked like he was about to pass out waiting to be weighed in.

Something that should be noted is that it can be argued Morales has'nt lost a fight since those Pac fights.....
.....alot of people thought he beat David Diaz.

......and certainly Morales is past it I feel to really give Marquez a run for his money.
.......but to say he's beyond shot and could'nt compete is stretching it imo.

Where Morales looked a little pudgy at 140 lbs in his last fight, he's going to look leaner vs Marquez......

.....the question mark becomes how difficult its going to be for Morales to get down to 135 lbs after all these years of walking around well overweight.

I believe that if Morales does'nt struggle too much with getting down to 135 lbs, he's going to be competitive vs Marquez.

The likely scenario is that Morales will get stopped late, and people will crtitcize Marquez that he's no longer on Pacquiao's level because Morales competed.

.......the same type of crap that was spewed about Evander Holyfield before his fight with Tyson.
Opponents that Tyson obliterated would be somewhat competitive vs Holyfield.....and the word would spread that Holyfield did'nt belong in the same ring with Tyson because of it.

Style make fights.....everyone knows its true, but people always dismiss it......

JMM does'nt have the style to run over opponents and overwhelm them with speed and power.
......with Marquez, you know he has to go through a process that results in his opponent being brought down to size.

My point is that because of JMM's style I think there is a good chance Morales will bring it and entertain us for a good while vs Marquez.

It may very well be a good fight.
