How bout giving El Terible the benefit of the doubt. He's done enough for the sport to earn it in my honest opinion. Besides, an old fighter with a warrior's heart has the ability to put on a show before the curtain is dropped.

Rather see it happen than not, The risk is in there anyways.

I dont like this at all. While Morales has done a lot better than I thought he would in his comeback and his skill is still there even though he is much slower and his weight is too high, based on JMM's last performance he is going to school morales bad. JMM looked amazing last fight with his accuracy and his combinations especially considering his age.

I have to hope that somehow morales pulls it off, but that is very unlikely and even at the same time JMM is my 2nd favorite mexican fighter so even if morales did win somehow I wouldnt like that it would set JMM back this late in the game in his career.

Very similar, one is old but still has a lot going for him, the other is far gone. This fight would have been huge 6+ years ago but is meaningless today. Sometimes is better to just leave it up to what ifs and atleast in a fantasy matchup you are comparing prime vs prime.

No it won't be that awful. Both guys love to fight but this is a huge mismatch. I don't like it but it happens every now and then so I'll make the most of it.

People who "love this sport" show Morales love. Every fanboy, hater, and what not can hide under a rock for all I care. True fans love and/or respect Morales whether they're a fan of him or not.

That's where the similarities end. Mark my words, Morales/JMM won't be as bad as Hopkins/Jones 2. It will be sadder but it won't be the atrocious mess Jones/Hopkins 2(or 1 for the matter) was.

Marquez is fraud...cherrypicking at its best....instead of making a statement above 135 and against a good fighter opted to fight a shot and faded fighter Morales...

it only shows that fraud Marquez only wants to fight Pacman for his last big retirement payday...He's not serious fighting above 135 because he knows that he doesn't stand a chance in there even against the weakest link in 140....fighting Morales is like fighting Jorge Solis..

Hey this isnt Pac. JMM a cherrypicker??

He has fought the lineal champ in each of his fights where he has jumped up in weight.

Pac fought Diaz at 135 Hatton at 140 and DLH at 147. Thats cherrypicking.

JMM fought all linear champs in his first fight at those weights...
