In your purest and wildest imagination, how did you and your friends from DREAMLAND imagined jmm won.?. 1st rd KO on the first fight and the second fight was 12 rd KO? NO problem... DREAM ON :hi: :hi: :hi:
if Marquez wins a 3rd i would still have Pac up 2-1 so yea i think a rematch would be worth it, especially in a close fight. but imo Marquez can't beat Pac if they fight again. Last fight he really gave it all he had and pretty much fought as perfect a fight as he can
Nice one! I suggest you stay at DREAMLAND forever so you could again do your imagination for the 3rd,4th, 5th fight!...
Took Pac to school, gave Pac a boxing lesson...all subjective really...hence why the forum is split in half as to who won which round. Pac took JMM's ass to the canvas*3...fact, everyone agrees on that...
A third fight for me isn't neccesary, but I would love to see another fantastic boxing match to remind us all why we love the sport. I have Juan Manuel Marquez 2-0 against Manny Pacquiao, and I don't see anyway he could lose in a third fight. The better fighter is clear as day, in my opinion at least.
Is there a point proven? He flattened Marquez three times, and then was outboxed for 9 rounds. Well done, Pacman. :good
Round to round Marquez is the better boxer. Yet, Pac has put him down four times in two fights, and if boxing is going to be scored like it is then Pac deserves full credit for the wins. I had a draw in the first and a Marquez victory in the second. But I can't in good conscience just proclaim Marquez the better boxer because Pac excelled in his own right in these matches.
Thats interesting inside info! Have you seen Pac spar with any notable pro's? I know he use to spar with Vasquez & Lazcano. Wondering how he fares against a bigger guy like Lazcano who isnt exactly a slouch. And did Pac really do some sparring with James Toney? Iv'e seen a clip of those 2 in the ring together, im sure it was all for laughs but it would be amazing to see those 2 do even just some light sparring.
Pac gets full credit for the wins, but I had Juan Manuel Marquez winning both fights. It's the same reason the majority of hardcore boxing fans keep their own scorecards, because history has told us that just because the judges think the outcome is correct, doesn't make it justified. Juan Manuel Marquez is the better fighter, the better technican, in my opinion.
I count Marquez the better technician and Pac the greater fighter because it is hard to disagree with his track record. My beef with harking on Pac in these two fights is this-- Everyone always points to the supreme counterpunching of Marquez as a mark of superiority, but there is a mark of Pac's own masterful work in that he finds ways of putting great fighters down. He can afford to lose rounds and be counterpunched if he can continually find a way to put these guys down. Thats a great skill in and of itself IMO.
