Obviously Marquez has said he prefers 140-144 but that for the fight he would be willing to come in at 147 if it comes down to that.. 140 for me, just to lessen the potential excuses after the fight.

But I think that either way Pac will come in at 147-148 while JMM will come in at around 144-145. So I really don't see a disadvantage for JMM if the fight's at 147 because all it means is that Pac won't have to cut the extra 4.6 lbs that he would have cut very easily anyway were the fight at 140.

 

This. Does it really matter? If Marquez foguht at 145 in his last bout then they shouldn't be too far apart. Both should reyhydrate to around 145.
