Since it seems Marquez has proved to be the equal, or better of Pacquiao, how do you think he would have done if he went on the same run that launched Pacquiao to superstardom? How does he do against these opponents if he fought them at the same time and same weight division Pacquiao did instead of Pacquiao fighting them?

    Oscar De La Hoya
    Ricky Hatton
    Miguel Cotto
    Joshua Clottey
    Antonio Margarito
    Shane Mosley

    He failed miserably vs Bradley.
and he would probably fail vs most of those opponents.

You only win the lottery once.

arguably outboxed pacquiao? never happend. closes he got was in the third 3 fight, where he ended up looking like a klingon post fight. Crying like a ***** like he always does about the robbery...

    "scratch cards.":patsch:lol:

Pedqueer won a quadruple rollover that night when he nailed Pac, whilst pissing blood from his face. He knows its time to cash out.:deal

He would probably beat THAT version of ODLH. Maybe Hatton too. I don't think I would favor him against the rest. Manny is a better all around athlete than Marquez. His athletic talents made those fights easier for him than they would be for Marquez. But, H2H Marquez is better, IMO.

The only convincing either one of them has over the other is when Marquez left him face down.

You *******s are just like the Floyd fans, if somebody says the slightest negative thing about your idol, you grab your saddles and start meat riding. :rofl

Hes looked great post 135 vs the right opponents

lost every round to Floyd and was beaten handily by Bradley

Only really looked good vs the handpicked guys like Fedechenko and Ramos and Manny was a guy he already knew inside and out

I like Marquez but the bigger true welters probably beat him he just doesnt have the athleticism to stay out of the way and isnt big enough to trade with them

probably very competitive vs all but loses to most

Marquez is smarter than Pac but Pac is more physically gifted. Marquez will lose to most of those in the list simply because he is not going to take chances the way Pac fights bigger guys.

Marquez beats weight drained shot DLH, Hatton is tailor made for Marquez, Cotto is a sucker for uppercuts Marquez has the best in boxing, Walking slow punching bag Margarito is also tailor made for Marquez, Clottey really???

I would have loved to see Marquez vs. Hatton. I think the ripped 147lb version of Marquez would have been even more ripped at 140lbs and I would give him the edge against Hatton.

Marquez might also be able to pull off a win against the version of Mosley Pacquiao fought. I think he would actually lose against Clottey in an incredibly boring fight where Marquez would have to be the aggressor and would like be countered to a close decision loss, similar to Bradley. I also think he would lose against Cotto and Margarito, just because they would be way too strong. For similar reasons, I see DLH having a good enough gameplan even at his advanced age to strong-arm Marquez.

There must be an epidemic of Butt-hurt caused paranoia in Pacland!
