It's called an investment strategy. This is a big fight. Europe is a thriving boxing market. GBP is trying to broaden their market with a great fight that is well connected to Ricky Hatton. As one guy said, Mayweather smoked Hatton, Marquez is Pac's toughest opponent by far, and Pac smoked Hatton... This should generate way more interest in Europe than any other non-heavy, or non local fighter would @ the moment. It's a well calculated business move to gain market share.

Maybe not, but didn't 10,000 Britts fly over here to watch Hatton get knocked the **** out by Mayweather last year? The average person might not know who he is, but you bet your ass every single fan of boxing in London knows exactly who he is.
To be honest a lot of casual sports fans in the UK do know who mayweather is, all my mates do and none are big boxing fans, no one apart from serious boxing fans know who JMM is however
I'll do what I always do when it comes to PPV fights, watch it on a stream or failing that, watch it on the internet the following morning. Never ever bought a Hatton PPV.
