we will never know. Marquez's style is the perfect counter for someone like that, But Valero just seemed alot more than just a brawler, he could actually box too.
Valero is not Pacquiao. He wouldn't trail Marquez like Pacquiao did. He'd go after Marquez for all 12 rounds boxing and at times brawling. Valero would be too strong and too fast for Marquez. Valeros jab is the advantage. Valero by late rounds stoppage.
Valero was a talent no doubt about it he had frightening power. There is a documentary on youtube with some the people who discovered him and journalist's who watched him spar ect they all say the guy was a powerful vicious fighter who also had good ring intelligence they could work with and improve. Im not saying he could have beat PAC or MARQUEZ (he certainly wouldnt have steam rolled them like the ones in his record) but he would give either of them hell.Damn he wasnt even conditioned 100% in parts of his career from drug abuse and alcohol ! he had incredible power in his fists and would have improved other parts of is game and I dont care what anyone says he would have smashed the **** out of fighters like KAHN,BRADLEY.He could have been a great but he ****ed it all up with his evil last moments on this earth. shame I was a huge huge fan of valero
JMM would have a little trouble with Valero early........before Juan gets his respect. After 4 rounds Juan would completely take over and end the night early. Valero was extremely dangerous but had a lot of defensive holes. Overall he's a good boxer...solid all around but NR does get wild in all his fights.... He can't survive JMM being wild.
