Former four division world champion Juan Manuel Marquez has advised

his former foe, WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao, to do

everything in his power to avoid the possibility of allowing the unification

with WBC/WBA champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. to go to the scorecards.

The fight is taking place on May 2nd from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Marquez saw his countryman, Jose Luis Castillo, as the rightful winner

over Mayweather in 2002 when they fought at the MGM Grand. The

judges saw it otherwise, and scored the bout unanimously for Mayweather.

The Mexican veteran, who fought Pacquiao four times and Mayweather

once, feels the Filipino boxer must avoid any boxing strategy and come

in there throwing firepower with both hands

"Mayweather has the defensive resources, technique, speed and

counter-attacks to do a lot of damage to Pacquiao, and I think he will

impose [those traits]. I know how judges perform in Las Vegas, as we

saw in that fight where José Luis Castillo beat [Mayweather]. However,

[the judges] gave it to Mayweather and Pacquiao has no alternative but

to knock Mayweather out to end his undefeated record," Marquez told Clarica.

Marquez feels even if Pacquiao wins the fight, the judges would give it to Floyd?

    I don't know about that.

I feel the same way, Floyd i think is closer to retiring then PAC. If they made PAC the winner they stand to make more on the long run.

Marquez believes Mayweather being in his backyard gives him the advantage with the judges.

I dont think Marquez is taking into account that Mayweather is'nt liked with the masses.

I think if Pacquiao wins 5 rounds the judges will find a way to gift him two others.

Marquez and Mosley said that Pac would have to knock Void out. Holyfield said that boxing is crooked. Void can't lose a decision in Vegas, Void will not fight anywhere outside of Vegas. The referee will also be biased in favor of Void.................

Marquez should know, he feels he's been on the side of some of those bad scoring decisions against Pacquiao in Vegas, but all this Ref, ring size, judges stuff is really putting a damper on the preview of the fight! Let's stop with the conspiracy **** and see how the fight plays out, it's as if the fights not going to be decided in the ring, and if that's the case, then we should annoint Mayweaher the winner right now and call it a day.

Floyd has never needed the judges in his pocket to ever win a fight and nobody has ever dominated Floyd to the point that anyone can say that they clearly won a decision over Floyd. Not Castillo, Maidana, Cotto or Dlh.

So just stop it lol... Stop with the excuses.

a couple of knockdowns would do the trick.
