I wouldnt be surprise to see it happen but i doubt it will.

It wont be like the 1st fight, with Manny just throwing the left all night long and Marquez wont be dumb enough to trade with Pacman again.....or will he?

As long as he doesn't get caught with any flush shots.

Manny showed that he has no problems putting Marquez down - if he get's caught.

However - I take Marquez in this fight - I believe he'll outbox PacMan and try not to get caught with any big shots.

I see this one being closer than the first, but Marquez is still the favourite. Pacman improved a lot since 2003, just compare his performances against Morales. He works a lot better with his right jab, his defence has improved and the left is still horrible.

At the same time Marquez is over his prime, that was obvious against Barrera.

Still, I think Marquez has enough to quit with a close decision, Pacman pressing the action all night, Marquez being more accurate. Marquez by close UD or MD in 12 rounds.

I think what you'll see is a Marquez masterclass, i thought Marquez won the first fight with some beautifull boxing, he is a vastly under appreciated fighter but hes technically brilliant and could compete in any era .. Manny has improved since the first meeting and is a fantastic fighter but he cant outbox Marquez so he'll have to try and get the job done early. I think Manny will come out fast in the first 4 rounds but after that i'd expect Marquez to measure him and pick him off for a fairly comfortable UD

Yeah, but JMM has done it already......and unlike Erik Morales, JMM is'nt coming off losing to the likes of Raheem and looking absolutely atrocious in the process!:deal

Marquez, IMO, is the best boxer in the game, after PBF.
Technically, he is excellent, and to recover like he did after 1st round last time v Manny, and lets be honest, he won that fight, shows how far superior he is.

Only was Manny wins this, is if he catches him cold again, otherwise Marquez will box his ears off.

JMM knows exactly what to expect of Pacquiao as far as quickness, speed and punching power is concerned......

....catching JMM cold cannot be an excuse this time around.

Unless either fighter gets robbed on the scorecards, there should'nt be any excuses as far as performance is concerned from either side!

my prediction Pac TKOs Marquez in the 9th round.

possible excuses of Marquez and mexican fans: Marquez is another old and faded warrior (he's turning 35 for christ's sake!!), if Marquez was still in his prime...he could KTFO and put Pacman into a coma...the BS prime for prime threads will proliferate again, discrediting Pac's win over Marquez.

Marquez overtrained for this fight, because as early as December he has been training at the Otomi Mountains.
