The more I think about and really analyze the possibilities in this fight, the more a smile comes to my face!:D

Like you said, If Pac attacks with abandon, Marquez will put on a counterpunching exhibition.

.....now, I've thought of what you said of Pac hanging back as he did vs Barrera.
If you looked at the Barrera fight, MAB actually had success when he actually made up his mind to initiate exchanges with Pac......but for some reason (likely being already mentally psyched out going in) he did'nt want to take those chances to often.
.....thus MAB fought like a man on a mission not to get KTFO. Thats almost never a winning game plan.

I dont think that will be the case with JMM.
When JMM fought Pac, Marquez actually attacked Pac when Pac wanted a rest period.

If Pac sits in the pocket standing still or moving back, I thing we're going to see JMM take the fight to Pac.....I've seen it, and Emmanuel Steward has alluded to it many times on Pac fight broadcasts, Pac does't do well when forced to retreat.
....we even saw it in the last MAB fight, whenever MAB attacked, instead of instinctively makeing a move to throw a countershot, Pac retreated first, and had to set himself to throw back a counter.....
....in other words he was showing his hand, and makeing MAB stop the aggression when he saw Pac retreat and set up to dish back.

One thing is certain, if Pac wants to sit back and play off the jab as he did with MAB.....we saw what JMM did to MAB when he tried to play that game......
....the only difference is that Pac will not stand for JMM to initiate and land on him without losing his composure and wanting to get right back at JMM......
If Pac wants to try his hand at jabbing, with JMM already moving to his left away from Pac's power, we're going to see Marquez parry that jab, and with Pac jabbing, that will leave the right side of his rib cage exposed for Marquez to land his hook to the body!

.....I mean, I see absolutely no way that JMM is not going force Pac to come to him.
JMM is a very accurate puncher. If he leads, he will land, and thats going to force Pac to have to return fire.

I am certain that Pac is not going to beat JMM on the counter makeing JMM lead.
MAB tried that and JMM was initiating and finishing the exchanges.
....and MAB is alot more cerebral than Pac is!

JMM is just not going to be beat cerebrally.
As far as I see, Pac has no choice but to attack, he will not outthink or outmanuver the fighter who has been doing it at the highest level his entire career.

I'm smiling from ear to ear the more I think of this matchup!:D :bbb :yep

Manny pacquiao is in for another boxing lesson 101 in March so he better be prepared to go all out. He needs to be in the best shape of his life to beat a man on a mission, Juan Manuel Marquez. Marquez will win by a stunning TKO.

Then how come he is only getting paid with peanuts? He won't even make a million without fighting PACMAN. He even went for a what .....$30,000. Is that the kind of pay a top caliber would be receiving?:hat

Possessing great skills has little to do with a fighter's worth and Marquez' paycheck doesn't reflect his true ability.

You never read what I said. I said better across the board. More balanced as a package when averaging everything out. I did mention speed and power as two of the categorys, but don't automatically mean I favour Marquez over Pacquaio in those areas.

I'm not a nuthugger, and don't intend to starting being one.

By the way the war torn BARRERA you're talking about beat BEAT YOUR BOY JMM in their last fight IF THAT KNOCKDOWN was scored in BARRERA's favor, which it really was. If JMM was really that good the outcome of that fight would have been a UD or a tko. A questionable W isn't a mark of a real top GUN.:hat
