I may be mistaken but I thought marquez was with gbp when he fought Floyd was he with gbp cuz i knw if he was with top rank Floyd would of not wasted his time fighting him so was he with gbp at some point?????
After Bob Arum waisted Marquez' prime years by not making big fights happen for Marquez, he finally got some big fights against MAB, Pac2, and Mayweather, after Marquez bailed on Arum and signed with GBP. When his contract with GBP expired, the only way to land a 3rd Pacquiao fight was to sign on the dotted line with Arum, I believe on a fight to fight basis. Marquez owes alot of thanks to GBP for working with him and becoming the first to promote him properly.
