With a case being he won 116-115 if you had the first rd a draw.

    RBR

    Rd1: 10-9 Pacman
    Rd2: 10-9 JMM
    Rd3: 10-9 JMM
    Rd4: 10-9 Pacman
    Rd5: 10-9 JMM
    Rd6: 10-9 JMM
    Rd7: 10-9 JMM
    Rd8: 10-9 Pacman
    Rd9:10-10 Draw
    Rd10*: 10-9 JMM
    Rd11: 10-9 Pacman
    Rd12: 10-9 Pacman

*I re-watched the fight while putting in slow motion all the exchanges. They gave Pac credit for punches that he didn't land. The most evidence is in the 10th rd. They had 3 total trade offs, Marquez won both of them including a head butt, the 3rd trade off they both landed one punch each after throwing about 3-4 each.

Not only that but Marquez had the most dominant rd of the fight in rd 5 so even if the RBR was tied Marquez should get the edge by having the most dominant rd of a tied RBR. Not only that but he also landed the cleaner more effective punches on Pac.

4 piece body combo(3rd rd) as well as kidney shots from time to time
    left uppercuts
    right straights
    left uppercut right straight combo
    sweeping left and right hooks.

He also controlled the pace of the fight for the majority of the fight other then the 11th & 12th.

Also please someone make a GIF of the last 12 secs of the 10th rd. When Marquez turned into a slick fighter for those last 12 secs.

As for the Mayweather fight, people say Mayweather doesn't fight like Marquez and styles make fight etc.. And there may be some truth to that. But the problem is Mayweather is faster and has longer reach then Marquez so while he may not throw those same combos. Mayweather's punches will get there fast then Marquez punches can get there. Not to mention Marquez looked really slow in this fight and still landed.

That left uppercut right straight is a combo that Mayweather loves as well. And those left and right hooks that were coming out slow as hell from Marquez would be twice as fast. But the major problem for Pac is that Mayweather's reach is going to allow Mayweather to tag Pac and Pac isn't going to be able to hit him back in those exchanges. He isn't going to be able to go over the top of a landed right straight like he could do to Marquez. Right straight left hook to the body will eat Pac alive.

But according to Lederman Pac had the "ring generalship."

By ring generalship he meant following Marquez with a confused look on his face as he blocks punches with his head.

Close fights will always be controversial with fans. Fans always give the close rounds to the fighter they love the most.
