Nobody believes that other rounds are scored according to the KD. When someone says that they gave the fight o pac based on the KD they are simply saying that they felt the fight was close enough that the 1 extra point for the KD made the difference

    Divac,

If JMM does not win over PBF, REST assured this topic will discussed again! You know why?! Winning over MAB, CASA nor Diaz did not really get some mileage as far as recognition is concerned.

It was his two close fights which placed JMM in the limelight! So PAC fans, brace your self with dozens of topic regarding PAC vs JMM 1 and 2 if JMM does not win over PBF:lol::lol: :rofl

I had the fight for the Pac-man....6 rounds to 6 with the knockdown being the difference and Manny Pacquiao getting the win...but I dont see a problem with the same score the other way...as it was a close fight.

Luck or bad luck has nothing to do with it.........
....its called corruption. In case some of you have'nt noticed, it runs rampant in boxing.

Quote of the year. JMM might very well be one of the best today, but if he doesn't beat Mayweather, the only Hall of Famer he will have ever beaten will be a way past his prime Barrera...and decades later when Marquez's place among the Top 200 boxers ever comes up, his resume will be judged on that. Dispute that if you want.

That is, unless you think Casamayor or Juan Diaz are Canastota bound...

Typical ******* post that would believe that if Mayweather beats JMM, this then would put a clamp on anyone that claims Marquez beat Pacquiao.:patsch

Let me let you in on a little logic Silvermags......A Mayweather victory is a Mayweather victory......Pacquiao I'm sorry to break it to you will not be involved in the equation when JMM and Mayweather go head to head on Sept 19th.

Why are you pointing to a piece of paper? Because if that's an OFFICIAL record book, like the one historians will use to judge Juan Manuel Marquez, it will read:

    Pacquiao D12 Marquez
    Pacquiao W12 Marquez

The only HOF Marquez has ever beaten is a way past his prime Barrera, who never fought for another world title ever again after that fight.

Hell, even Morales fought for a WBC title at lightweight (and almost won it) after his trilogy with Pacquiao.

i'll explain silvermags' logic to you my child. if pbf beats jmm, jmm fans will put up internet polls saying jmm is still better than pac. following so far?

ok, good boy. now, the logic jmm fans will use as evidence are the fights jmm won against pac. sounds good? ok, of course, boxing is - to quote yourself - corrupt, so history will unfortunately quote pac is being 1-0-1 with jmm. but that's ok, us jmm fans and all internet polls in the month after the fight shows who really won. still following? after all, nobody says "jmm #1" largely because he beat grandpa casa and "baby fat" diaz.

well, that's basically what silvermags meant, right silvermags? please elaborate more to our developmentally hindered friend, divac, if you wish.

    A lock? He's borderline.

W: Baek, Campbell, Corrales I, Corrales III, Katsidis
L: Freitas, Corrales II, Castillo, Marquez
    D: Kid Diamond

Granted the Freitas and Castillo fights were controversial, but while it's a solid resume, he's not that much of a sure thing for the Hall. Like Marquez, while has won belts in multiple division, he's only defeated one Hall of Famer in Corrales. And there are plenty of solid fighters who have won belts in multiple divisions who did not make it to Canastota.
