who the hell reads about boxing today? really? when hbo or espn brings up these fights in the future, with all respect to the pacman, it's clearly going to show how close these fights were, but how marquez boxed manny's ear's off and despite taking manny's best shots came back and deserved to beat him. and casamayor not being hall of fame? u guys need to pull the balut out of your butt

    Right.

    Pacquiao W12 Marquez

You need to learn how to read. Casamayor may make the Hall of Fame, but it's no sure thing.

  5. I don't know how anyone can claim with a straight face that Pacquiao won that fight. I just watched it twice: once in slow motion and once in real time. Marquez very clearly won that fight. He dictated the pace and imposed his rhythm on Pacquiao throughout the bout. His game plan was also clearly superior. His ability to make adjustments is the stuff of legends. Beristain is obviously a better trainer than Roach. Roach got lucky with Manny. I scored it 114-112 in favor of Marquez. Round 8, in my view, was a 10-8 round for Marquez. He hurt Pacquiao twice and he had Manny backing up during the entire round. Pacquiao seemed weary. It likes he accepts defeat... if only for one round. 114-113 could be argued, but the outcome would the same: Marquez wins cleary. I say cleary because in spite of the knockdown he obviously won. Let's not forget that Marquez was the defending champion.

Oh so now you get all defensive? And for your information, the "*******" who said that its much better to judge a fight months after compared to just a few days ago was ME. You have the audacity to tell me that I can't comprehend something written a few posts ago when it seems your the one who is ignorant to what other people say.

Yes you never initiated anything about emotions. I did. And its mainly because you keep bringing up these polls that were posted right after the fight as if it were a fact that polls that time where a better indication of who won compared to polls months after the fight. So I responded and disagreed with you and said that people are generally more emotional days after the fight compared to months after the fight, and that(and I'm sure majority of people agree) it is better to judge a fight months after when people have CALMED DOWN.

And again you keep saying, without proving it, that there aren't as much forum members talking about it as compared to the aftermath of the fight. Where are these polls that prove what your saying? This thread itself contradicts your argument. Are the posters posting in here only JMM and Pac fans? I don't think so. You must be that blind to not see that there are also neutral fans participating in this thread. What about that JMM-Pac rematch poll that was setup a few months ago where there was a HUGE amount of ESB members(Pac fans, JMM fans, Neutral fans) who participated and voted on it? How do you explain that?

Agreed on the first part. For the second part, JMM is not really a loser. His dicksucking fans are the real losers. :deal

Take out round 3 in the scorecards and JMM wins by a point!:good It was a very close fight won by Pac by knocking down JMM in the 3rd. It was ironic indeed that JMM was winning the round before that fateful KD.
