I tend to agree with this. After a few months, people can start scoring without much emotion affecting their judgment, the fight is scored more objectively.

Look whose talking out of his ass. You actually know how observers do? You actually know that they don't care to rewatch it again? Who the **** are you, Nostradamus? What the hell do you call this thread then and the other threads in the past where NEUTRAL OBSERVERS participated and actually thought Pac won. Stop bullshitting me divac. You have nothing with regards to this and you know it.

I don't give a **** if no one provided you a poll where Pac won days after the fight. Its irrelevant as far as I'm concerned, as I said giving a judgement on a fight that happened months ago is WAAAAAAYYYYYY better than giving judgement on it days before the fight. Emotions are as ****ing high as a mutha****a after a fight and you can't really count on it that much. Your just pissed because many people are suddenly changing their minds about the fight and are now seeing why Pac could've won it. :deal

So instead you cling to those polls that were brought up right before the fight. Your grasping on straws here buddy and quite frankly its just sad. Call me ******* all you want, I think we know who the real **** around here really is. :hi:

Marquez by 1. It wasnt a robbery at all. If a fighter wins by 1, it means the fight can go either way

Totally agree with this. if Marquez had won there would have been uproar on the boards in the same way.

It was a close fight. Pac scored the knockdown (as well as one unseen where Marquez was scrambling for the ropes) so he wins. Without the knockdown it's draw.

With it it's a split decision for Pac.

Everyone needs to get over it. It was a close fight and whoever won there would have been controversy.

:rofl:rofl:roflNow you''re saying that emotions ran rampant in these early polls where the people who voted on them had the fight fresh in their mind????

If your theory about emotions playing a role on the outcome of the early polls were true, Pacquiao would have lead on those polls by a landslide, because he does have a bigger and wider following.
The emotions would have been on the side of Pacquiao.....

.......but it just was'nt the case.....Marquez won every one of those polls, despite the fact that forums like this are littered with crazy *******s!:nut

Just a guess, but for every JMM fan on this forum, there are probably 4 Pac fans to combat them.
The fact that nobody in this forum could come up with a single poll that showed Pac leading in it, truly shows that the people thought Marquez was the better fighter!

.....and btw, I only bring up the poll issue when somebody wants to set up new polls now as proof that the people back then felt that Pac won.......and as we all know that was'nt the case.

Anybody with any sense knows that the further away from the fight.....the more people vote with their heart, and it simply becomes a popularity contest.

Lets drop it, JMM-Mayweather and Pac-Cotto is just around the corner..........I'm looking foward to each of those fights!:bbb:yep

    JMM #1:tong;):D

It's called 'mob' mentality. If Pac had lost the fight everyone would have been ranting about him being robbed too.

People love drama. And they love to feel 'persecuted' and 'hard-done' by.
And they love to gossip about how boxers were 'robbed'.

When you put all the gossip and hysteria aside and look at the facts it was a close fight. Simple as.

Pac won because of the knockdown (s).
