Marquez's key to the 4th Pac was weight/str training. Weight lifting is key to win.

Weight training was very important. He set Pacquaio up for that counter shot the entire evening.

He told everyone that he was going for str training and he pulled off one of the best ko wins of this decade.

    War Marquez. :deal

Why can't people get it through their head that Pacquiao was just a good fighter at 147.

If it was such a great KO and win then why couldn't he hurt Pacquiao once at 126 or 130 let alone knock him out?

Did not focus on punching power/str training.

He knew Pac couldn't take a good punch, and that's why he went for str training and knocked Pac cold. :happy

Of course. Being a professional boxer he just ignored punching hard.

He trained for speed in the earlier weights against Pac. He did beat Pacquiao all 4 times though however, but he knew that power was going to seal the deal and knocked him out.

Idk. I can think of great KO artist that don't lift weights at all. I think it had more to do with just perfect timing, distance, and delivery.

    :nono:nono

All we know is that it ko'd Pacquiao, no one else. I dare say Floyd would have eaten that shot easily without even being wobbled.

I think it was more of knowing his tendencies after 4 fights and film study

The big overhand thst scored the first knockdown was a shot he landed in the first fight that rocked him

The KO was after seeing Manny do a stutter step before throwing his left something he did all fight and Marquez caught on

JMM always had power and rocked Manny in the first 2 fights, can't think of an instance in the 3rd. Maybe the weight lifting made the difference in becoming a true welter something he may not have been in fight 3 while Manny was

No he didn't. Manny was never in danger of going to the canvas in the first two fights.

Fight 1 round 4 or 5 JMM rocks his head back with a overhand right and later a straight right

Fight 2 JMM lands a left hook in round 1 or 2 that makes his feet stagger. I thought this was common knowledge and in any highlight video of these fights
