That third fight is considered a robbery by most fans. One as bad as the Pacquiao-Bradley one. Most of what you say is true but it's not something Marquez was "handed". He proved he was still a top operator through his performances, fan polls were preferring Marquez, Arum was pretending like he wasn't going to make the fight over and over again until Mosley and Margarito were out of the way while Marquez improvised his "You're Next" t-shirt. So 3 years after their last encounter, with few marketable options left, Manny signs the fight. That's not a "favor". Especially when the fight is at 144 and the judges rob you. And it's certainly not a favor for Marquez to have the fight at 147 after most fans just watched you lose unofficially at 144. Marquez, having nothing left to prove after the 3rd bout, signed the 4th to get the W, but it was Manny who had everything to lose and was given the opportunity to redeem himself. You cannot deny that. Now that JMM has come out the decided victor after having the advantages stacked against him multiple times, he doesn't owe Manny a thing. It's not a favor to give your rightful opponent a purse.

Would love to see Marquez beat the **** outta Rios.

Really wouldn't mind any of these choices though.

Pac because he deserves another shot at redemption. Though i would rather see him fight the other two.
