People gave him his due in 2004 after the draw with Pac. He's been respected for over a decade. Everybody rates the guy. He's also bitter as hell.
obviously not respected by everyone if the threads appearing today are any indication. and yes, i do agree that he whines too much, but hes been getting screwed for decades also, so much so that he had to change his style to get big fights, so i can overlook some of his bellyaching.
Don't know where you get that Marquez is bitter. I know two things about bitterness, you are bitter and Freddie Roach is bitter. Hmmmmm, are you Freddie Roach? LOL!
Marquez is rich, successful, well respected as a boxing commentator, HOF and ATG fighter, considered by most(except the bitter ones) one of the best Mexican fighters of all time, and holds an ATG KO over his nemesis, another ATG fighter, after being denied a legit win on at least several occasions.. The only way "bitter" fits into this equation is from those who were holding on by a thread to the hope that Pac might get a 5th chance to finally really beat Marquez and those hopes have been crushed by Dinamita's retirement. That's never going to happen, time to move on.
Ken Norton was in poverty eating a hot dog a day before the big fights with Ali. Does that mean he wasnt a good boxer?
Pac wouldn't be Pac if it wasn't for his first fight with JMM. They both enhanced each others careers and they are both HOF'ers and ATGs.
Yes, Pac was on his way to a knockout when Marquez' steroid punch landed by luck because Pac got careless, it was a mismatch until that one lucky punch. Pac offered Marquez huge money for a rematch, but Marquez was afraid to fight him again, Marquez knew he was losing the fight badly and would have lost by knockout in a rematch.........................let's have that rematch happen right now, right after Pac knocks out Arum's #1 fighter Horn, who can't fight at all..............
Luck. HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. He'd been trying to catch Manny coming in with that shot all fight.
I don't care what anyone says. Who said what? I didn't see it. JMM missed the big 130 time came a little late. Johns, Mayweather, Manny, and a lucky punch make a great fighter? No way.
