Course it's newsworthy when they fail a test but them actually taking PEDs just isn't worth talking about imo as I happen to believe they're all doping?
To use Lance Armstrong as an example,when he did try and compete clean he couldn't compete.

 

It doesn't really matter either way since no amount of steroids will give someone talent they don't have. Marsellos Wilder just isn't any good as a fighter.

The wife was watching the crossfit competition on tv. I saw a lil bit of it before remarking how doped those girls are. She was not pleased at that comment. A quick google shows that yup, there's a crapload of them banned and they barely make any money at it. In actuality, doping is rife in amateur sports so some bum like Windmills.2 is no surprise. He probably needs it anyways since he hits like a girl playing patty cake rofl.

 

Fury fans aren't quiet about the drug charges. It just happens that it's the most suspicious case around. No other fighter has been politically attacked by an entire establishment at the same time they are charged for old results that they were NOT charged for at the time of testing, and results that didn't have them banned from a world title fight. You couldn't find more dubious behaviour from a doping agency.

As for Deontay Wilder, it wouldn't surprise too many if he got done. His punching power seems to be an anomaly, in a division of giants, when he is also on the lighter side, (though being large frame and extremely lean, so not what I would call small). If something seems freakish, there's a good chance it isn't entirely natural.

 

Yeah it's pretty obvious doping is rife at the elite level of Crossfit. Some of the women like Sara Sigmundsdottir must be doping she has more muscle mass than most well built men. She makes Chyna from the WWE who obviously was doped to the gills look small and frail in comparison.

Money in Crossfit compared to most sports is pitiful. But it's better than what most powerlifters and Olympic lifters make as there really is no money in those sports unless you get funding. So for someone like Tia Toomey who is an Olympic weightlifter going into Crossfit where her skills are transferable and winning 300K last year for 1st place at the games is a no brainer. As the games get bigger I expect more people to crossover from the traditional 2 lifting sports as the prize money increases.
