Looks promising. Looking forward to him stepping up the competition in 40 fights time.

What I want to know is, where the heck did the mom come up with these names - Deontay and Marsellos?!

To be fair he could retire in his 40's.

Tervel Pulev KO's Marsello though. Tervel will really clean his clock if he tries that wild windmill BS

Has he given himself a boxing name yet? If not he should have Marvelous.

Good for him. I'll be interested to see how he progresses.

But impressed? Definitely not. His opponent was abysmal, which is fine as it was Marsellos' debut.

    But still abysmal.

Against a guy who was 0-4 no less.

Call me cynical, but I believe it's going to be a case of "Wash, rinse, repeat ... always repeat" with Deontay's younger brother for the foreseeable future.

Which is why I suspect his backers will take their time with him: his first 25 or 30 fights are essentially going to be a pseudo-amateur career for him.

 I'm reserving judgement until I see him in there with a Dustin Nichols caliber opponent lol

Feed Okolie to M. Wilder on the Deontay-Femi undercard.
