Interesting take.I can’t listen to Shields for anything more than 10secs so won’t be watching the sit down.she is a confident character no doubt but she’s also arrogant and delusional imo because she isn’t as good as she thinks she is.Shields hasn’t beat anyone close to the ability of Marshall as a professional and Marshall is one of a handful of female fighters who has proven punching power which could make the difference.looking forward to the fight.
Hannah Rankin is terrible though. She lost to Berhult who Tasha Jonas dominated yesterday moving up from 135 to 154. I lean towards Marshall on points but I wouldn’t be surprised if Shields wins at all.
Is there not a point at which Shields' kind of confidence tips over into delusion which tips over into a terrible gameplan? Like believing that Marshall's power is all hype and that actually, she (Shields) is the knockout artist of the two?
I am interested mainly for the fact that I would love to see Shields get KTFO and this is the best chance of that happening in a boxing ring.

Agree, can't remember ever hearing her bring it up if it wasn't already mentioned by someone else. Shields is more obsessed with it than Marshall is
I think Shields has already lost. Similar to Nigel Benn losing to Eubank at the contract signing. She’s stated she severely dislikes Savannah and that it’s personal…. She’ll leave herself open and burn too much energy focussing on marking Marshall’s face rather then actually boxing properly, slipping/countering etc
I see Marshall as the favourite she is a good puncher and has height so Shields has to come to her.Shields throws a lot of punches but her results indicate she couldn’t crack an egg ! Shields has a massive ego and that might just get her through but my money is on Marshall.
To answer the question that this thread poses, yes. I'm definitely hyped over not only Shields/Marshall, but Mayer/Baumgardner as well.
I'm really excited for this fight, actually more than I was for AJ v Usyk 2 (I know I will be in the minority.) Marshall v Shields is a great fight. Cannot wait.
I'm looking forward to it actually, only down side is i am away for the weekend with the wife, in one of those ****ing glamping cabins, and i have my very own man cave with everything in it, ****ing gutted as the wife is not really in to boxing either, what a twat!!
