You can see that they hit as hard as anything a boxer throws. That said, apparently the way that they turn over can damage the fists if they land wrong. I know Vovchanchyn had steel pins in both his hands and could not close them after his career was done.

 

He has diverse striking like others but in MMAfights the punches almost every fighter throws are similar to boxing but usually not as good a technique.
Theres zero proof boxers throw harder then MMA fighters,fighters like Francis Ngannou for example, hits every bit as hard as boxers like Tyson if not harder
