    Third-billed on the upcoming Sky Box Office PPV (with the marquee championship doubleheader of Dillian Whyte vs. Alexander Povetkin and Katie Taylor vs. Delfine Persoon II).

    Both heavyweights boast identical 15-1 records, and they have their conqueror in common in Michael Hunter. The longstanding Russian amateur team stalwart (though never quite a true standout) and the Congolese-Scotsman (the physically larger kid brother of cruiserweight titlist Ilunga Makabu) have been hyped in the past as hopefuls in an uneven HW division. That has mostly cooled off in both of their cases, and not just because of their Hunter setbacks, with each turning in some less than inspiring performances.

    There is yet another bizarre mutual truth about the combatants: they have gotten in trouble over videos they posted in 2020 universally panned as being in poor taste. Kuzmin's was of him knocking out a brutally outmatched sparring partner in January, while Bakole's was a disturbing child sex abuse depiction in late March for which he later apologized claiming that his intention was to "draw awareness".

    Most recently, Bakole was lined up to meet Filip Hrgović in April. Kuzmin has been without a scheduled assignment since his loss to Hunter last September.

    Boxrec still have a load of Japanese bouts listed that were cancelled due to the Osaka gym clusters... They have gotten lax in recent months!

    Some people don’t have access to editing fights in certain countries so maybe that has something to do with it. But yeah, the whole situation with the pandemic has kind of made the site disorganized.

    Hearn confirmed it is n his IFL TV interview last week. Said Kuzmin Hd to stay in Russia with his dad and a replacement was close to being finalised.

    seen a couple of rumours it might be Romanov
