Martin Bakole vs Anthony Joshua confirmed for the summer 2025

AJ hasn't beat a puncher since OAP Wlad. Bakole isn't just a puncher, He's a 280 pound Goerge Foreman. He will rattle him just as badly as Dubious even worse probably...and Bakole throws some HORRIBLE HORRRIBLE sneaky hooks. From surprising angles. A straight should beat a hook but AJ doesn't have the balls to find a straight anymore.

 

He looked petrified against Dubois, completely gun shy, he can`t take any kind of decent power from a hard hitting heavyweight.

 

Fury understands buisness and understands he might have one fight left in that body of his and he's not going to sell it over to AJ & Hearn for ZERO gain. The only thing in Fury's way is Usyk will always be there and a 3rd fight isn't going to interets anyone...but Zhang, Bakole, Dubious or Parker....Fury will be there when they establish who is the dog at the end of the year and if it's Dubious Fury is ready for it....although nobody cares for IBF garbage. Problem is Usyk will want to retire off beating a Dubious again but so would Fury like to retire beating a Dubious.

 

Where would you rate AJ at heavyweight right now?

 

Bakole might well do what you suggesting, but he ate a lot of punches against Anderson, I don't think his defence is very good and I think he has a suspect engine. He doesn't have a jab like big Dan had and I think he is slow, so AJ can box safe from behind his own jab. I have been a vociferous critic of AJ for many years now, and think Dubois would have knocked him over years ago...all wrong for him. But Bakole? One paced, leaky defence, suspect engine? Time will tell.

 

What about Dubois title?

Bakole is vastly overrated. AJ could win this, then onto Wilder, and then maybe Fury.

With all these big fights happening in the division, someone is bound to get upset again. I myself heavily favor Bakole over Ajagba, but I do see a bath of victory for Ajagba.
