weird sidenote but same mentality. was in the crawford - norris thread that i was going to restablish norris's records. because one of his best wins is against Paul Vaden. great am. best technician in his prime. slept with norris's ex wife (if i remember) so had a mind game advantage and norris outboxes and changes his style round by round to win. Vaden falls apart moves up in wieght and career crumbles to a halt. so on boxrec. he looked like a title holder hypejob. but of the day, was a real danger.

but point being is that it doesnt add or create lore for norris. just another day at the office.

 

Foreman's defense wasn't great, but it was better than no defense at all (Bakole).

If power was all you needed to beat Foreman, Lyle would've won. They simply stood there trading bombs for several rounds. Even as a fat old man, punches from guys like Cooney, Morrison, and Briggs just bounced off of Foreman.

So if Foreman has superior defense, technique, experience, timing, etc he doesn't have much to worry about outside of Bakole's puncher's chance. Bakole literally just stands there flat footed throwing bombs and his body is wide open.

 

Translation: All that matters in a fight between two punchers is whose bigger.

Bakole is a flat footed statue with no defense at all. Anderson landed whatever he wanted on Bakole before he got caught.

Foreman throws every punch in the book, can actually use his legs, has better defense, timing, accuracy, and is the more proven puncher.

Bakole is 280 lbs of FAT. Bakole was fat at 240 when he was in his early 20's. Do you think the additional 40 lbs is muscle? He's built like a 50 year old burger king manager who devours 4 burgers and guzzles 2 7/11 big gulps every day. Basically no definition in his chest, belly, or legs. He hits hard yes, but let's not pretend he's carrying around some functional weight.

 

Bakole isn't a Kodiak bear so your question is irrelevant. You can go on Google and SEE that the guy is carrying excess fat. Bakole is at least 20% fat. You can't force your bad analogy to work when people have eyes.

The only thing you wrote that is correct is Bakole's story is still to be written, which is why favoring him is not a safe bet. Remember all those hilarious Joe Joyce vs threads that aged like milk...?

He was scared of everyone, according to him. I take those sorts of comments with a grain of salt.

 

No, Bakole is a human. 20% bodyfat and being 40 lbs of FAT overweight is not impressive and doesn't give Bakole any advantages. As we saw with Fury and the recent Ruiz/Miller fight, having a big flabby gut can make you even more susceptible to body shots. Foreman was one of the best body punchers at HW.

Joyce wasn't "shot" when Zhang brutally knocked him out and made many of you look stupid insisting Joyce was "too big" for Mike Tyson.

Your bear analogy looks even worse when you consider the only man to defeat Bakole.

So according to your logic, it's ok for a kodiak bear to lose to a black bear, but a kodiak losing to a grizzly is out of the quesiton...???
