Bakole has done nothing to earn a shot but squash one of the worse hypejobs I have ever seen, and not even a highly ranked contender, yet.

I think he is up to fight Ejagba, yet. Let him win that while Usyk deal with the winner of Dubois-Parker, and we'll talk, though I think even the winner of Zhang-Kabeyel will be ahead in line.

Upon rewatching I noticed Bakole had much faster hands than I remembered on top of having a high workrate, good shot selection and being scarily accurate with his punches. My only concerns are his lack of defense and his lumbering foot movement.

I think he has the potential to be a real force in the division, against those who can’t hurt him.
