This would be a great fight for both fighters. A great scalp for Gethin, or an ideal 12 round benchmark bout for Harrison
I wonder if the Board would allow Burns vs Harrison? I mean.... Burns is in good form and has won about 15 in a row, probably closer to 20.... whereas Harrison has fought two bus drivers after a seven year layoff, at a higher weight than he's ever been at. It seems like the WBO have scoffed at the idea, hopefully they go in different directions. Burns is a better fighter than he's ever been in with, and at his age it's a dangerous matchup. It's alright saying x2 world champ, but he didn't fight any of his top 5 contemporaries, such as Marquez, Pacquiao or Hamed, all of whom would have executed him. Stick Burns in with Bronehead and Harrison in with a Johanneson or an Appleby if they want an all Scottish fight.
