Round 1

Johnson is shouldering into Anthony, driving him into range to score with the long red-carpet jab. Anthony resists with a few heaves standing his ground, but finally gives it up and trades jabs from a distance while leaning his upper body over to his right and taking long shuffle/drag steps to the side. Johnson is watching more than anything, carrying his arms low as he stalks with the jab loaded but frozen in the barrel. A couple of HARD right drills to the body by Johnson, just before the bell, cinching the uneventful round for him.

Round 2

Johnson wastes no time picking up where he left off, hammering down on Anthony with big right hands. Anthony is clubbed to his knees, and takes half a count. Johnson is catching jabs on his goalposts as he slides in and nails the right into Anthony's ribs (and back, when he turns it). Lots of clinching by Anthony. Defensive jabs by Anthony, all blocked until Johnson is atop him, at which point he grabs him by the arms. Flailing shots by Anthony delivered blindly overhead while skidding back under Johnson's pressure. Anthony is ragdolled from a clinch and loops in a rainbow right on Johnson's shoulder.

(and yes I realize Gethin has only ever been stopped on cuts...but he's also never fought anyone of Ammeth's cut of jib)

 

Round 3

Sustained assault by Johnson. Jabs to the face and plunging rights to the side of the head as Anthony ducks away turning himself fully around. Anthony's only interest is playing keep-away with his chin, letting Johnson completely batter his back, biceps, and even the rest of his skull. His only directive is to not get caught flush on the button. Weak jabs by Anthony, walked through as Johnson unloads up and down straight combos.

Round 4

Johnson is catching Anthony with the semiautomatic right hand. Anthony cows against the ropes, slouching and seeking a clear path to boomerang himself out past Johnson. Heavy power shots carefully picked by Johnson, not in too great a hurry. Anthony keeps himself safely bent in the middle, face hoarded on the far side to make Johnson reach for it and remove a bit of sting from his shots. Johnson keeps plugging away, taking what Anthony gives him and jabbing over the crease when Anthony gets a mind to skip around him and enjoy a breather unassailed.

Round 5

Johnson is landing the jab as Anthony languishes on the ropes, dropping his head as low as he can. Wild counters by Anthony, missing badly with overhands stumbling in like a landlubber regaining his legs after too long at sea, completely out of element being the instigator. Johnson is able to block anything that doesn't miss outright, and continue to work on Anthony's foundation, putting in light uppercut combos above Anthony's trunks. Anthony reverts to holding.

Round 6

Johnson is jabbing up from a low holster, chasing Anthony. The ref takes a point from Anthony for all his negativity. There were not warnings that I can remember but more than enough wanton running and clinching to merit the docking. Johnson is flicking up-jabs into Anthony's grill from right in front of him, daring him to counter. Anthony instead wraps his arms wide around him and doesn't let go until ordered to. Anthony trots around Johnson, counterclockwise, then moves in to hold again. Johnson watches from a distance, catching some casually dispensed Anthony tip-tap jabs on the pinky knuckle. Johnson steps in and hooks Anthony in the right lung. Clinch.

Round 7

Johnson is catching Anthony on the finely sharpened point of his rapier jab. Rights to the temple and behind the ear are Anthony's just reward for continuing to lean deeply to his sides to negate the action. Johnson is gliding in and floating jabs up into Anthony's brow. Clinch attempts by Anthony disguised behind a probing jab. Johnson misses a 1-2 over Anthony's neck as he ducks. Another clinch by Anthony. The ref takes another point. No, he disqualifies him! At least, I think. No way that could've been a stoppage (even in Britain). Johnson wasn't even in the act of throwing, or even within range to.
