Gethin forces in the jab and leans in behind his guard. Diaz reaches underneath with an uppercut on the bottom of the chin. Gethin knifes a few more jabs into Diaz's face at short range. Diaz spams the uppercut, now scouted and slipped by Gethin, then jumps outside and switches to 1-2s. Quick switch to southpaw for a right hook by Diaz, then back to normal. Wild corkscrews by Diaz as Gethin rocks to either side to slip them. Diaz circles to his left, pulling his chin just beyond the reach of Gethin's jab. Wild right haymaker from outside by Diaz, Gethin leaning out of its way. Gethin puts in a light combo to the body leaning in, and muscles Diaz into the ropes. Right hand over the top by Gethin, on the cheek. Diaz is eager to get the last word and flurries straight into Gethin's face. Left hook by Gethin, uppercut by Diaz. Gethin pushes Diaz to the ropes and slaps in another left hook.

10-9 Gethin but very tit for tat.
