Round 4 was quite a bit of fun, and Gethin did well to come back in the last minute.

That is the key for Gethin. Pour it on and don't let Diaz get off first or build momentum coming forward. The question is whether he possesses the stamina to keep that up long enough. It's a race between that and Diaz's chin holding up. (or Gethin's)

Really high drama stuff, you have no idea how it's going to play out.

Damn. Much better from Gethin. His first round on my card. This is turning into a pretty decent fight. Very wide though. Unlikely to go the distance in my opinion.

    Round 5

Gethin is throwing a sloppy 1-2 over Diaz's back as the Panamanian bends forward. Hard right hand by Diaz, collapsing into Gethin after throwing. Gethin eagerly invites the clinch, having been slightly buzzed there. Overhand rights by Diaz as they circle in close. High stiff jab by Diaz, deflected with a backhanded parry by Gethin. Diaz circles to his left and jabs high, then puts in a 1-2 to the abdomen. Gethin covers up and Diaz loops a right around his arms, into the left jowl. Gethin checks a few jabs stepping in, then scores with an underhand right to the body. Left hook and right hand by Gethin, nice. Left hook by Diaz.

10-9 Diaz (so, so close and Gethin nearly stole it)

    48-47 Diaz

Gethin needs to double that jab. He's willing to trade with Diaz at times but I don't think that's a good idea.

Nearly an even round but just slightly better work by Diaz.

    Round 6

Gethin is popping the jab and dribbling it off Diaz's face. 1-2 by Diaz. Left hooks traded, both clipping the nose. Powerful right by Diaz, lodged in the upper neck of Gethin. Stiff body jab by Diaz. 1-2 to the chin by Diaz. Gethin responds with a right. Overhand rights by Diaz. Gethin takes a knee. A minute left as he absorbs most of the count. Big overhand right by Diaz. He keeps loading up on it. Gethin is expecting it and slipping to one side. Tight guard by Gethin, but he is looking weary and getting moved around by the force of blocked shots. Weak jab by Gethin. Big right hand by Diaz crashing through his guard.

    10-8 Diaz

    58-55 Diaz

Diaz's footwork is horrendous. So flat footed.

Nice work by Diaz. Gethin walks onto a big right hand.

It looks as though Howard Foster isn't going to give much leeway to Gethin.

He seemed close to stepping in after the KD. If Diaz had landed flush even once immediately after resuming...

He doesn't want to go out... so this round he goes down and stays down
