Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Robert Swierzbinski, 8 rounds @ middleweight

 

Round 1

Eubank Jr. moseys out to center ring and plants his tent stakes. Quick straight by Eubank Jr., rocking Swierzbinski as he creeps in. Eubank Jr. turns and watches Swierzbinski for the rest of the round, posing with his left arm low and shoulder popped up.

Round 2

Eubank Jr. is flicking shots up from the Union Jack logo on his thighs, peering up at Swierzbinski with his chin down. Left and right upper-hook combo sends Swierzbinski onto the seat of his pants. Eubank Jr. lays off, posing instead of moving in for the finish.

Round 3

Swierzbinski is circling and holding up his rigid guard, stiff and ungainly as he presses in with a jab and occasional cross over the back as Eubank Jr. bends over. Backhanded jabs and two-armed shoves by Eubank Jr., never taking a step backward, either standing firm and bending to his side or marching forward, making Swierzbinski react but not punching much.

Round 4

Eubank flips a couple of body shots in, backhanded from the hip. Swierzbinski down again. Eubank walks straight into him, arms down. Uppercuts on the chest whipped in haphazardly by Eubank plowing forward, giving Swierzbinski no respect and bowling him over. Swierzbinski beats the count again. Eubank lets him off the hook, again - leaned over posing and watching.

Round 5

Swierzbinski is opening up a bit with the reach-in double jab and 1-2 over the back. Eubank Jr. is alternating between deep leans and hops outside to make Swierzbinski miss. Lazy jab, left hook on the body from Eubank while running Swierzbinski into the ropes. Eubank Jr. is content to let Swierzbinski ride out yet another round without picking up his attack.
