Wlad, prior to being completely gunshy had a very great straight right and a nasty left hook. But I see much more from joshua, not only is his talent way above wlads, dude puts punches together like ****ing canelo..

The dude gets his distance and timing down then it's over. Wlad never had close to the timing or offensive skill level of Joshua.

We're seeing a bunch of very special fighter's and Joshua is as good or greater than any. No hw at 245 ever put shots together like joshua. Only Tyson in my lifetime as a hw would attack like they are attacking their own heavy bag.

Joshua is king right now. The only hw's right now that have enough juice to take him out are wilder and haye. That's only because they have the power to take out any man, not saying for 1 second it'll happen because I think Joshua times them and it's over quickly.

It's weird, most fans on here look for only negatives. Why are we all not pumped we have so many great fighter's and great fights coming up and great to make.

This is truly the golden era. We have sick elite talent ALL over the place. How can fans look for reasons to hate instead of a ****ing appreciate ceremony. .

what I saw was Povetkin rushing in head-first into Wlad's chest and Wlad using this holding tactics

I also saw Povetkin hit repeatedly in the face and roughed around the ring like a rag and dropped 4 times

so yeah, you were right :nut

Povetkin walked forward, where was he meant to go , backwards?:nut.. But you saw wrong anyway.. Wlad clearly lead with clinches , hugs , grapples when Povetkin was at mid range.

Totally illegal and a performance worthy of disqualification for every round that was in it. He couldn't out box Povetkin. He just could not do it.

You better hope Pov bangs out Wilder , cos Wlads legacy is going down the tube if Wilder goes out there and puts a pure clich free schooling on him.

You don't think that Wlad could take him out?!

You also believe that Wilder and Haye hits harder than Wladimir?!

    220 pounds vs 245 pounds...

Wladimir is in the vary same weight class as Joshua.

Miles better than Martin though. He'd last longer against Joshua

I am not sure Johsua would defend against someone as lowly as Pianeta, so you seem safe in making that claim since we wont ever know. clever move.

anyway you stick to your wouldda couldda shoulddas, np toafact guy like me.

Shot Chagaev knocked him out in the first round. Why do you think he'd do any better against Joshua?

Let's not pick on Martin so much. The fault lies squarely with the IBF. Who the hell are they to strip Tyson Fury after he defeats a long-term, dominant champion in Vladimir Klitschko? That was insane. And then the two guys they set up as contestants for the vacated belt??! Two unknowns with empty resumes! Absurd, corrupt, and just plain stupid.

I actually give Martin a lot of credit for taking on a tough opponent in his first defense, unlike the Deontay Wilders of this world Give the guy a break. Sure, he looked pretty bad last night, but he should have been allowed to continue a bit longer. The real blame though, as I said, goes to the International Boxing Federation, another corrupt and greedy organization.

Well the guy was lower end of the top 10 rankings.

Wlad faced some who weren't ranked like Mormeck, Rahman, Pianeta, Wach, Lepai. I'd say Martin is above that level of fighter.

Joshua destroyed him with ease which probably catapults Joshua to the top 5.

Joshua, Wilder, Fury. 3 young, hungry, undefeated belt holders. Most exciting HW division in years.

Martin wanted to prove himself worthy of the belt unlike Deontay "the spider" Wilder.
