He's ranked No2 by the WBO, so I presume he is extremely tasty. Theoretically he should provide Khan with a very hard fight indeed.

    Whatever gave you that idea?

I'm surprised the board is not overwhelmed with Khan v Kristjansen threads in the build up to this highly anticipated fight.

It is a World Title eliminator after all.... as such it should be a stern test for Khan.

    You are under-rating Martin Kristjansen.

Look at his record, it is quite good.

    Only 1 lost.

hes got only one loss, but about 3 draws. A draw is basically a loss. Khan will give him 2 loss's and a broken nose

I think why people are sceptical is because of the lack of KO's on this guy's record.

Until Khan beats a guy who we all know can bang, the jury will still be out for everyone.

Most acknowledge his ability, fast hands, power etc, but until the whiskers are tested, he can be dismissed as overprotected!

    Sort it, Mr Warren.

Kristjansen is a monster who will destroy Khan with his amazing KO power.

Kristjansen has no punching power, very average boxing skill, little speed and little chance of landing a punch on Khan.

Great match making by Warren once again.

Does any true boxing fan want Khan to succeed?

whats a true boxing fan, a lazy ****er who just watches tv all day, or some1 who enjoys watching talentless bums hit each other in the head for 12 rounds.
True british boxing fans should want khan to succeed..

I want Khan to succeed by actually facing a decent opponent upto testing his ability.

That I 100% agree with. Being an American living in the England, I would cheer for Khan as well.

However, I don't see what the hurry is sometimes.

Also, there are a lot of ppl on these boards who want the same thing as you but only because they want to see Kahn get KTFO. I think Baileys is the kinda guy who doesn't like that sort of thing.

Tbh, i think he will get KTFO one day but not because I think he's **** but I think that he will end up fighting the best out there. He will attract that sort of attention.

    Btw, back on topic!

I think it's safe to say that this guy isnt a big puncher, but anyone know anything about his defensive skills? Or his jaw?

Yes. Kristjansen was never ranked this high before there was talk of him fighting Khan. If he is that good, then why has he not been in the mix with the top guys? If he is really the No2 lightweight in the world then surely he would have one of the other belts?
Either he is a beast who has been avoided up 'till now, or he is an average Euro level fighter who has been artificially boosted up the rankings in order to justify another safe fight for Amir Khan.
