Martin Kristjansen: Khan's next opponent

Kristjansen needed a gift to get a draw against a shot Stefano Zoff , which tells you all you really need to know . He was also dropped twice by Zoff(a non puncher) .

A not so shot but still past it Zoff managed to beat him easily enough the first time they met .

Although to be fair I didn't see the fight but his split decision win over 14-15-2 Romanian Mircea Lurci in his last fight isn't a good sign , gives you the impression that Kristjansen has a padded record :shock:

Also the 5 stoppages in 19 wins(23 fights) means he has no redeeming qualities .


Khan tko before the 6th .

 

For the benefit of those not familiar with Kristjansen's record -

- Won 19 Lost 1 Drew 3 = 23

- one fight in last 16 months

- last fight 6 round split decision win

- prior to that drew with ageing Stefano Zoff

- 23 fights = 4 x 12 rounders/17 x 6 rounders/2 x 4 & 8 rounders

- one TKO in last 13 fights

 

Yeah but he's the numbert two contender... its a big step in the right direction.:roll: Numptys....

 

We'll see who looks a right numpty after Saturday you cheeky so & so!

It may be April Fools Day but don't be fooled by Kristjansen's rating guys.

Yep, this is the main fight this weekend, and I'll be there to cheer Jon on. I might tape the Khan fight, if I can find a tape...

 

I might watch it on Youtube on sunday if I can be bothered to type 'Khan' and 'ko' into the search engine. Something tells me I won't be adding it to my favourites.

 

Khan wouldn't know a KO if it hit him on the chin. If Khan wins then we should batten down the hatches at ESB, and brace ourselves for the usual influx of Khan fanboys. I can't wait....

i particularly look forward to some fresh khan vs katsidis, khan vs diaz, khan vs campbell and of course khan vs casamayor polls

 

Plus this weekend we get the Thaxton/Romanov winner to add to the mix. And if Khan gets floored or hurt against Kristjansen, then things will really hot up with the mandatory "Khan is chinny" threads.
I may well prepare some posts ready for the weekend...

 

If Khan gets floored by Kristjansen then he should retire.

 

Quite right too. How many times have people posted the phrase "Give the lad a break"? FFS, he gets paid a fortune and is presented to us on ITV as entertainment. If we are unsatisfied with his performance or opponents, then why can't we have a pop?
