Martin Lindsay vs. John Simpson RBR

Round 12

Lindsay comes right out with an overhand right but is immediately backed up by straighter and sharper short punches from Simpson. Lindsay doesn't get too far outside, trying to flurry hard. A couple of nice hooks land for Lindsay. Simpson feints with a jab and lands an uppercut to the belly. Lindsay blocks and moves while he regroups and sucks wind. Lindsay lands a 1-2 and another right behind it but Simpson counters hard with his own well-timed right. Hard hooks from Simpson are partially blocked. Lindsay keeps pushing out combos and leaning up against Simpson to catch his breath. Simpson is landing the better individual punches but Lindsay left it all in there and kept his hands going enough to take the consolation round in what should be a wide loss.

Tony Jeffries vs. Tommy Tolan - 8 rounds at LHW

Round 1

Tolan paws up at the taller man with his right hand and worms his way inside, where he clinches and hits above the hip. Jeffries is trying to wrestle him away and snap out some punches. Tolan repeatedly gets in and clinches him up with wild missing overhead swings. Jeffries only lands a few clean punches but takes it.

Round 2

The pattern holds for about a minute until there is a clash of heads that cuts Jeffries. He responds with a vicious 1-2 that drops Tolan hard and leaves him out cold on his back.
