Murray was a solid fighter at one point..... Has regressed a lot over the last couple of years.

Murray nearly died vs Groves. Groves outboxed Eubank. Jr. was as fresh as s daisy after their fight. (Besides the head butt)

Eubank tore Groves up in the 12th. Eubank inflicted more damage to Groves in the 12th than the entire Murray & Froch I fights.

Don't forget Eubank had blood in his eye from round(2?) on.

Murray was robbed by Sperm, arguably beat Martinez, stopped a fresher Blackwell 5 rounds earlier than Eubank did, Robbed again in Germany by Abraham. Definitely has had a better career than Jr. but has slipped a bit and probably isn't as good H2H anymore.

Murray has never been able to punch but he is one tough mo-fo. He's been in with everyone and it says a lot that only a prime GGG stopped him and even then it was in 11th round.

Groves slipped most of the wild swings Eubank threw in the 12th and you can clearly see him wince, I noticed when I was watching and I looked at his shoulder it was dislocated and that`s what gave Eubank his chance and he still couldn`t finish Groves, Eubank was out on his feet despite how he recovered after the bell he was fighting like a tired drunk.

    Well this post is awful.

The Blackwell that Eubank beat was twice the novice fighter Murray got for the British.

As for being robbed v Sturm, you need to seriously rewatch it.

(Besides the head butt) You clown, Eubanks caused this by his reckless running & diving in...as he was clueless as GG kept him firmly under the boxing Kosh...Jnr has NO skill sets at all

Twice? Granted he may have improved slightly but still almost every time he stepped up. Only credible moment is stopping a drained Ryder who had gassed. He lost EVERY other meaningful fight inbetween Murray and Eubank.

Murray clearly won. Typical awful German decision.

This. Murray was actually always a good fighter, but never elite.

Just goes to show that there are levels to this and Murray whilst often falling short fought at a higher level than Eubank jnr as unlike jnr none of his opponents were hand picked to make him look good.
Have to say me and Isal have had our differences on here and re Eubank jnr I’ve no qualms in admitting he was right about Eubank particularly when he said Lemieux was a better win for Saunders than Eubank,I thought he were crazy saying that but have to say on the other nights performance he was right.

Eubank fought exactly the same way Lemieux did vs Saunders except Chris landed a few more, having said that in the last round you could clearly see where Groves dislocated his shoulder and how it helped Chris, Groves was still slipping well on the ropes though and doing well to restrain the laughter that must have been building in him, can`t believe I paid for this s..t!
