I disagree, imo Sturm beat him but Murray got generous judging to make up for the hometown decision vs Màcklin
:deal Going by the statement from Hatton (see Eastside Homepage) they did plenty for Murray. I know they would say that anyway, but I find it hard to see what terrible greviences he could have against them. :scaredas: Hatton say Murray has/had 2 alternative world title fights on the table and he only had to take his pick. :-(
It is suspect he wouldn't take the Sturm rematch, it's still fairly winnable. Maybe he wants to go Matchroom, so decided to sit out these offers? But ike you said, not sure another promoter could do much more for him.
Murray seems to have fought or had the opportunity to fight ALL of the 160 titleholders outside of Quillin (Quillin mgmt would insist on that fight being in the USA - a place Murray is barred from entering, we are told). He fought Sturm. He fought Sergio. He has had the offer to fight GGG. He cant fight Quillin. So exactly what is the problem?
Not doubting that happened Xellos, but Quillins management dont seem to have any confidence in their man. Personally I cant see them risking him in with Murray away from home. Murray would quite likely beat Quillin. Even in the US Murray would probably beat Quillin, who is there for the taking IMO. :good
