Martin Murray is one of the luckiest boxers alive especially in his two previous World title fights. Sturm clearly beat him by at least 8rds to 4 but due to the outrage over the Matthew Macklin result, the judges gave any close rounds to Murray even if Sturm deserved to win them so he has Macklin to thank for getting a draw in that fight. Although he fought a good fight against Martinez, he basically blew it big time by losing the last 2 rounds to Sergio who had clearly suffered multiple injuries during that fight and was probably fighting at less then 50% capacity. Even so Sergio still won the first 4 rds and also the championship rounds 11 and 12, i did have Murray winning 5 of the 6 rds between rounds 5 to 10 inlcuding the knockdown but still had him losing by a point. His fight against Fletcher is a complete joke, just like the belt Quigg holds no real boxing fan should accept the winner as a real World Champion. If Murray wants to become a respected World Champion then fight GGG!
Terminator_X, as Mr Luis Santana's lawyer, I have been instructed by my client to sue you dry, if you do not retract the above post! Mr Luis Santana is the sole 'owner' of the title of 'Luckiest fighter alive in two previous world title fights'!
Why are they giving this guy a "regular" title shot when he just turned down a fight with the "super champion". As for these saying he should be undisputed champion, he was lucky against Sturm who had just been lucky against Macklin. Also Murray clearly lost his last fight in my opinion. I didn't see the Martinez fight but I remember a lot of people having Martinez winning. He'll get exposed in due time and hasn't really done anything to prove beyond doubt he's the best in Britain.

If Murray wins and GGG moves up, he will be upgraded to 'super champion'? I personally do not think he will get in the ring with GGG, Hope he does but can't see it. He gave maklin grief for being 'already beaten' before getting in the ring with GGG but at least he did...
If you believe this Ive got some land that you need to buy...its lovely land - when the tide is out!!! :nut
Delighted Matin has a world title shot again but the opponent isn't right no matter what way you doctor it up
